Part-time Junior/Senior Grade Music Teacher
Koinonia Christian Academy is seeking a Part Time Music & Band Teacher. Our Gr 6-8 students enthusiastically participate in band class and our extra-curricular concert band. KCA also showcases our band students throughout the year with a number of fun concerts and presentations. If you are looking to share your love and gift of music, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements
Strong Christian faith and commitment to integrating faith into teaching practices
Ability to teach music, recorder, and band instruments
Demonstrated knowledge of music theory
Background in Music (degree in Music Education, other music accreditation)
Technical knowledge and experience with production performance for events such as Christmas concerts, recitals etc. are highly valued
Knowledge of Ministry expectations for music grades 3 - 8 and OCT certification are an asset

Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging French language lesson plans for students in various grade levels.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to practice and develop their French language skills.
Incorporate Christian principles and values into French language instruction.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate French language learning opportunities across the curriculum.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and needs.
Requirements
Fluent in French with strong proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Strong Christian faith and commitment to integrating faith into teaching practices.
OCT qualifications or CSTC preferred
Previous experience teaching French language preferred.
Enthusiastic and creative approach to teaching, with a passion for language learning and cultural exploration.
